Here is a delightful prediction effect that is very easy to do and yet packs a stunning wallop when you perform it.
You show four playing cards each of which has a different coloured spot on its face. The cards can be carefully examined.
The four cards are mixed faces down and then placed back outwards into clear plastic holders attached to a display board. Each clear pocket is boldly numbered from one to four.
The back of the board is shown to have a single giant card in a larger plastic pocket this is also face down and is your prediction card. Please note there is only one prediction card behind the board.
Any spectator names any of the numbers from 1 through to 4 and the card at this number is removed and its colour spot revealed - let's say it is blue. There is no force or funny counting of the number; it is a free choice and only the card at that number is removed, no rough & smooth etc.
Any spectator can remove the Giant card and display its large spot which EXACTLY matches the one on the chosen spot card!
You are not restricted to the spot cards supplied. You could just as easily use design cards from an ESP deck, or even ordinary playing cards with a large duplicate of the chosen one.
Children's entertainers could use animal cards or cartoon characters, for adults one can even use glamour models!
