Did one of Picasso’s portraits of Dora Maar include a picture of your spectator’s selected card? Well this is hardly likely, but that is the mystery you will present to your audiences, in this most extraordinary effect!
A card is chosen by any spectator. You then freely show four copies of famous paintings depicting beautiful women immortalised by famous artists, there is:
•Portrait of Dora Maar by Picasso
•Whistler’s Mother by James Whistler
•Flaming June by Lord Leighton
•Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci
All the pictures are shown freely back and front and if you prefer can be examined in turn by audience members.
One of the ladies you claim was NOT a true artist’s model but a card sharp that played for high stakes in Paris – you lay one picture face down in front of the audience; while you show the three paintings of the true artist’s models.
The painting laid aside is then turned face upwards by any spectator to show she is now holding a replica of the spectator’s chosen card! The picture can immediately be examined.
No sleight of hand is involved so it is easy to do! Use any pack of playing cards.
Comes with pocket sized laminated reproductions of famous paintings, routine & instructions.
