This is a specially made brass nut and an unfaked duplicate with which you can perform close-up miracles!
An amazing solid through solid trick.
A solid nut is threaded onto an examined string both ends of which can be held in a spectator's hands isolating the nut.
You cover the nut with a handkerchief, or you can simply cover the nut with your hands if you prefer, and like magic the nut penetrates the string dropping into another spectator's cupped hands held below!
Nut and string is then left with the audience for examination to their heart's content.
The fake is specially made and you will notice that the split does NOT go straight across but is staggered to help in concealing the method used; in our opinion a big improvement on the original.
