You display several laminated cards each with its own number on its back and lay them out in to a small circle upon a table or your close-up mat.
A spectator is given a poker chip or a large coin and asked to study the face up numbers and then place this chip upon any one. No force is utilised.
The chosen number is used to count to another number in the circle and in this manner all the cards are eliminated except one which then becomes the spectator’s chosen number.
You explain that each card has a valuable prize printed on its opposite side and the spectator turns over the discarded numbered cards to discover covetable prizes such as a World Cruise, case of Champagne etc – a different prize on each that the spectator may have won!
Finally the chosen card is turned over and the participant has not won a major prize, nevertheless he receives a very pleasant surprise indeed to the delight of the rest of the audience who will always respond to this clever idea with an enthusiastic round of applause!
