A laughter-filled PROFESSIONAL comedy routine that you really will enjoy performing & do so often, perfect for older children & adults’ shows.
Claiming to be attuned to an audience volunteer, you show the rest of the audience your prediction of a giant playing card but you keep its value concealed from your participant. The giant card is slipped into a colourful holder that has a window where the back of the card is left in full view.
You now explain to the spectator that he is to make a random choice from a stack of several giant playing cards, which you hold up for the audience to see but not the volunteer. He is unaware that these cards are all duplicates of the giant prediction card just shown. The audience laughs as it realises that you are about to con your hapless volunteer.
As you display the giant cards to the audience you miscall them, saying one is the queen of hearts, another is the seven of spades and so on. The cards are shuffled and mixed and then the gentleman chooses one and following some further fun when he eventually shows it to the audience they realise that something has gone wrong and that you, the magician, have made a mistake.
Your prediction card however proves to be absolutely correct and the whole audience realise that they have been led up the garden path! A great magical laughter finish for all concerned.
Remember in this superior version all the cards are genuinely shuffled and cut before the spectator chooses a card, a point that has puzzled a lot of magicians who have seen me present this hilarious trick in my shows. No rough & smooth or sticky stuff used.
