Magical originator Ian Adair has based this brand new comedy effect on an old 'Supreme Magic' item called X-Ray Scope. He's added a tried and tested visual gag, and extra features. It's a comedy card revelation.
A spectator selects a playing card from a deck eg: Three of Hearts, which is looked at by the spectator and then placed face down upon a table.
You now introduce your Z-Ray Detector which is in the form of a plaque which has bold flashes on its front and a hole in its centre; explaining that looking through the hole it can transmit images of playing cards.
The spectator looks through the hole and moments later you show an illustrated image of a tree with green foliage covered with hearts.
"Is that your card madam - the tree of hearts?" you say with laughter from the audience.
Just in case the lady has any doubts the plaque falls open to double its size displaying a HUGE image of the Three of Hearts!
Packs flat and when we say it resets in a jiffy we mean just that!
