These smiling sunny yellow faces are popular with all age groups, most of us have used them at one time or another in our emails, on our mobiles and in our text messages, to convey happiness.
We thought it would be fun to enjoy them in our magic as well, hence the following awesome effect.
You show five SAD emoji faces one by one, laying four of them faces down and having the fifth peeping out of your pocket, explaining that the emojis are having a bad day and desperately need cheering up, so someone tells a joke or two or the children sing the well-known song, “If you’re happy and you know it clap your hands!” or something along similar lines.
When the faces of the emojis are shown they are all now magically changed and have a lovely big happy smile on their faces!
No difficult sleight of hand, no rough & smooth or sticky stuff is used. All cards can be left for examination at the finish. Perfect for close-up performances.
