When we first released Marvillo’s Night Out in Paris we had many requests to do a version for the ladies, so here it is, ready for you and your audiences to enjoy.
You show several picture cards of handsome young men front and back and invite a lady to have a blind dinner date with one of them, making her choice solely by chance.
You demonstrate with the pictures in your own hands saying, “He loves me …he loves me not …” as you reject pictures in turn until you are left with a good-looking man which you show to the lady and the audience to admire.
Placing the pictures in the lady’s own hands face down, she rejects various pictures as per your demonstration one-by-one until she holds the last picture being her chance choice of her date, holding the picture to her bosom unseen.
After a suitable build-up she looks at her choice and shows it to the spectators; but it is obvious from her reaction and the resulting laughter of the audience that the sexy date she now holds is far from what she expected!
At this point hand her a bar of chocolate as a consolation prize and ask the spectators for a round of applause for, “Being good sport” as she returns to the audience.
The comedy final picture was not among the shown pictures at the start of the effect and seems to have magically appeared from nowhere, all the cards can be left for examination without a clue to the baffling methods used.
No skill required; no sleights used. Picture cards can be left for examination at the finish. This entertaining trick is great for all types of adult audiences.
