You show four pictures of the portrait of Mona Lisa, explaining that one of them is a copy of the genuine Mona Lisa picture which can be identified by its different coloured back from the other three, further explaining that some people can pick out the real Mona Lisa just from the pictures.
You say you will test someone out today, you now choose a spectator or your entire audience, “Showing hands for the real Mona Lisa by numbering them 1, 2, 3 and 4”, depending on the occasion at which you are performing.
Either way, the chosen picture is left in full view (no switch) and never touched by you again while you show that the backs of the rejected portraits have the same coloured back design - proving all three are fakes.
When the audience member then reveals the back of the freely selected Mona Lisa (no force) amazingly, she is the only one with a different coloured back amongst the four pictures.
