Tricks with National Flag pictures are always very popular with any age group from 3 to 93 years of age.
In this fabulous effect you show two sets of ten mixed matching national flag cards, a spectator chooses one set for themselves and you take the other set of ten.
You position the flags in your set into a certain ‘psychic order’ (you can shuffle & mix them into this order if you like), then place them in a pile face down on the table as your prediction that you never touch again. The spectator now mixes their set of matching flag pictures and lays them in a pile next to your set.
You patter about flags of all nations coming in harmony with each other and pass your hands over the two sets of flags with a mystical wave.
The top card of each pile is turned over by the spectator, to show two matching flags, let’s say two colourful Japanese flags. She then continues with the rest of the flag pictures turning over the top card of each pile – incredibly all the flags exactly match each other; USA with USA, Canada with Canada until both sets of ten flags match their own country, bringing you ten sets of applause as each set of two are shown!
The flag cards are not faked in any way and so can be examined before and after the trick with no clue to your clever mystery. No sleights are involved.
