You show five ESP symbol cards Circle, Cross, Wavy lines, Square and Star. Allow anyone to shuffle and cut them to their heart’s content, they are then laid singly faces down in a row.
Taking a pen and a single slip of paper you write your prediction, fold it, slip it underneath the clip on the pen and hand it to any spectator who lays the pen on any three of the five face-down cards, the two symbols not selected are cleared away and this procedure is repeated by the spectator until only one face down symbol is left.
Removing your prediction paper off the pen’s clip it is unfolded (no switch) to show, shall we say, the Star. (It will be a different symbol card each time). The single symbol card is turned over by anyone to reveal the Star!
The perfect pocket ESP effect. Only the five symbol cards, a pen and paper are used. Everything can be examined before and after the trick if you wish. Very easy to do and you will do it often. No set up is needed just do it again and again.
