You show several jumbo cards that have been cut into halves, explaining that you intended to do an effect with ten jumbo size cards and asked a lady to cut the packet, and she did with a pair of scissors, leaving you with twenty half jumbo cards and a problem of what to do with them.
You count out two piles of half cards into face-down piles of fives, a spectator takes one pile and you the other one. Spectator takes any half card from her pile (no force)and places it onto your pile. You in turn pick one half card from your pile and place it onto hers.
You both turn the others choice face upwards into the middle of your individual piles, behind your backs, which when spread out reveals two exact matching halves of the same card But what of the face down halves could they also be the same as the matching card? However when these are turned faces upwards, they all prove to all be halves of a different cards both in suit, value and colour. Thus if the matching selections are two halves of a black card, then all the others are red cards. Two minds with a single thought? Telepathy? or unbelievable magic?
This is the perfect table hopping routine, as you can repeat it at the next table, or later the same people, with a completely different method and presentation.
