This is another of our original low-cost children’s effects, putting laughter and fun into your routine.
Based on our effect Animal Twist but with Christmas characters.
You show two A5 sized cartoon style jumbo picture cards, one of an appealing looking Elf and the other of Santa Claus.
During the course of this fun routine with these two characters you play a game of hide & seek, hiding one picture and the children have to guess if it’s the Elf or Father Christmas you are concealing.
However to the bewilderment of everyone they can never guess correctly (unless you wish them to do so). It’s terrific Christmas fun for everyone.
Eventually you appear to make a mistake and even the youngest child present knows that you’re hiding Santa Claus and the children demand to see the picture for themselves.
But no it is not Santa after all, you have led them up the garden path and the picture magically turns out to be of Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer.
Everyone falls for it adults and children alike, I have even performed it successfully for elderly citizens in a retirement home.
