Showing your deck of fifty three cards you remove the joker and show that the deck is a full pack of just fifty -two cards’ which you mix and shuffle and allow a spectator to cut it a number of times.
Spreading the deck faces down across the table so the backs of all the cards can be seen, you invite a spectator to push the Joker in between any two cards, thus two cards are freely chosen in this manner lets say they are the six of clubs and. The jack of Hearts.
You point out that by using one of the selected cards as the value either the six or the jack, and the remaining card as the suit the names of two other cards are formed in this case being The Ten of Hearts or the Two of Clubs.
The participant chooses which of these imaginary two cards she favours the other one being discarded Lets say she chooses the Ten of Hearts..
The Joker has been lying face upwards throughout the selection and it is now turned over to show a number is boldly written on its back; the Lady uses this number to count down into the face down deck and isolate the card at this very number.
You ask her to repeat the suit and number that she chose; in this example she would say the “Ten of hearts”. (The card is different every time).
She herself turns the card just counted down too; and incredibly to everyones amazement it is the `Ten of Hearts’ the chosen card.
The Dark Joker is very easy to do in-fact it works itself.
