When I originally released this popular effect I only offered it in either Jumbo Size or Table `hopping Size. which sold out in less than a week.
I hve since had manuy requests to put it out in Pocket size sutable for Cose up and similar occasions- You asked for it so hear. it is, but be warned I hav only made a few up in this size so it is sold on a first come - first served. basis.
Entertaining, effective & straight forward it almost works itself. Packed with audience participation.
Addressing your audience you say, “Did you ever think how you would murder someone, planning out the details in your mind? Or perhaps you visualised being some other type of criminal, maybe a bank robber, a pickpocket, a shoplifter or even a safe cracker.” Thus setting the scene for what follows.
As you patter, show five pictures of these criminal activities, passing them for examination, these can be mixed and shuffled by your audience, as you explain that you have studied criminal detection and you rely on suspects’ breathing, palpitations, hesitation, and general body language for your clues.
With your back turned an audience member follows your instructions over your shoulder to mix the five pictures even more thoroughly. Then you ask her with the cards in her own hands to simply think of one of the five crimes while your back is still turned, so you cannot receive any clues as to the criminal activity she has in his mind.
Now you instruct her only to answer “Yes” to your following questions, in this way she will tell four lies and only answer truthfully ONE question.
Taking a picture in turn you ask questions such as, “Have you got your gun under your bed?” etc, to each query she answers yes. In this manner you eliminate in turn four of the crime pictures, until you are left holding just one back to the audience.
Now you ask her to truthfully name this thought of crime, let’s say she names, “Murder.” You turn around the picture you are holding for everyone to see it is indeed the murderer!
This clever method is 100% certain. The crime is different every time you perform it, yet you always reveal the foul deed merely thought of correctly. No stooges, no peeking. Everything can be left for examination.
