Inspired by the popular song Run Rabbit Run, this is a fun close-up trick in which your audience try to find the running rabbit.
You show five laminated cards – four of which have blank faces and the fifth having a cute white rabbit on its face.
Three of them, including the regular rabbit card, are now turned with their backs upwards and the cards are mixed.
The spectator is now invited to guess which is the card with the rabbit but no matter which card they choose they fail.
One card is now removed leaving three blanks and the rabbit card and thus improving the spectator’s odds – still they fail to pick the winning rabbit card.
The odds are continually improved for the spectator by removing one card at a time, three cards, two cards and still they lose. If they had been playing for real money they would have lost their shirt by now.
Only one face down card is left in your hand, surely it MUST be the rabbit card?
But no; when this final card is turned over it too is a blank, where is the missing rabbit?
Well you take it from your pocket or wallet where you claim it has been from the start!
