You show a giant playing card to the audience claiming this is the card you predict will be chosen by your volunteer who has their back turned while you show the card to the spectators.
Your prediction card is placed for safety in large envelope and a part of the prediction card can be seen at all times through a window in the envelope.
From a well-shuffled deck of playing cards your participant chooses just one card, announcing, let us say a diamond suit, and you excitedly show that a diamond is showing through the envelope window.
The spectator next announces the value and everyone knows immediately this is not the correct card which you showed as your prediction - panic stations - but not to be outdone you get the entire audience to say very quickly your special Oriental magic word, “Ohwhatanassiam!” which works its miracle and the prediction card is whipped out of the envelope to show it has magically changed into the correctly named card!
