Honey Jar & Teddy Bears Game
Honey Jar & Teddy Bears Game
Product ID: 4467
By kind permission of Ian Adair routined by Eddie Burke.
You show a picture card with a Honey Jar on it, which you explain is for your evening meal, providing you can get it home before your teddy bears eat All the Honey, you further explain that they all love honey and will go to any lengths to get it.
You propose a game in which the children have to guess which picture card is the Honey Jar, and if they are correct that teddy bear will share your pot of honey, and you will unfortunately have to eat plain bread with no honey - ugh!
Cute teddy bear pictures are shown and added to the Honey Jar picture.
Two of the the pictures, including the Honey Jar, is turned face down and mixed with the teddy bear pictures.
The audience have to guess which is the Honey Jar, but somehow they choose incorrectly, getting one of the teddy bear pictures instead, which is then excluded from the game.
This is repeated which is lots of fun for the children until you are left with just two pictures; a teddy bear and the Honey Jar which you mix together faces down.
Again the children guess which is which and they are wrong once more.
Thus you are left with the Honey Jar, “Hurray I have won!”
But when you turn the last card face upwards it is another teddy bear,
The bears and the children have tricked you, the Honey Jar has vanished.
If you can find it you promise to share it with the bears.
Needless to say the Jar turns up in the most unexpected place and it is honey for everybody, so three cheers for the bears and the children, “Hip, hip hooray!”
A fun routine, easy to do and packs flat inside your workbag. You will wonder how you managed without it.
Comes complete with laminated picture cards (approx 7.75 x 5.25”, 20 x 13.5cms) & instructions.
