This is the perfect naughty routine to perform if your audience are drinking alcohol or on your friends at the local pub or club, where you want them to be laughing and enjoying themselves. It’s all good fun and a great way to start a magic show at this kind of venue.
Two picture cards each have a picture of a popular drink upon them, these being whisky and beer. These are mixed behind your back, then one drink is removed with its back to the audience who have to guess which drink is still hidden behind your back.
No matter how they try they are always wrong (unless you decided otherwise). Eventually, no matter which drink they guess you always tell them they are wrong, provoking them to challenge you.
You always have the last laugh however, saying, “Cheers” you then turn the card round and both drinks have vanished and you are holding a rude picture of the back of a hand showing two raised fingers in a V formation!
