Mystery of the Cards

Mystery of the Cards

Product ID: 4479

Suggesting an experiment in ESP using ordinary playing cards, you show two packets of face-down cards, explaining these are cards from several different decks and so the backs of the cards are of varied colours and designs from each other.

A gentleman from your audience takes one set of eight face-down cards and a lady from your audience takes the other matching set of eight holding them by sandwiching them between her hands. You never touch the packet again.

The gentleman now openly arranges the other packet of eight cards into a random face-down order.

The two participants now deal the cards from each packet two at a time, face-down without your handling the cards. Thus both piles of eight cards are now dealt exactly in the same order as each other, however the back designs of the cards don’t match each other. It seems your ESP experiment has failed.

However you point out that the backs of the cards are of no interest, and allow the participants to turn the sets of cards face upwards to reveal, incredibly, that both sets exactly match each other AH to AH, 7D to 7D for example - all eight pairs match perfectly!

Remember no spelling, sleight of hand, rough & smooth or sticky stuff is used.
Everything can be examined before and after the effect. No sleight of hand or skill is required. Remarkably easy to do.

Comes complete with odd-backed playing cards & instructions.
