Based on our popular effect Ghost Train we now offer you the amazing Ghost Card.
You show the fanned faces of a poker sized deck of cards to be all different and mixed.
Squaring up the pack you riffle the cards at one end inviting your spectator to call stop on a card. He does so and is allowed to peek at the card stopped at, let us say it is the Jack of Diamonds.
The pack is now closed and the cards riffled then spread across the table face upwards so that the spectator can examine them. But his selected card is no longer among the rest of the deck - it has simply disappeared! You explain that what he saw was the ghost of a card only in his mind.
The vanished card can reappear anywhere you wish, Eddie has it turn up inside his pocket or wallet from where it is dramatically taken, usually to gasps and spontaneous loud applause.
One moment the card is clearly seen and the next moment the card has simply gone without trace - an awesome effect.
It all appears to a lay audience and other magicians as clever sleight of hand yet no actual sleights are involved such as palming or anything similar. Very easy to do with a little handling practice. No special set-up such as pulls or the like are used.
