You show three playing cards fanning them out to show their faces –two spot cards and a picture card in the centre.
Explaining that the picture card becomes easily embarrassed which causes it to turn its back when in company, you close up the fan and immediately open them out again, the picture card is now seen to be back upwards between the other two.
Immediately the face down card is removed and tossed face upwards upon the table, when it is seen that the picture card has now blushed red with embarrassment!
Both the front and backs of each card are seen.
This surprising and endearing effect is based upon a very clever principle. No chemicals or sleight of hand required. Three cards only are used and positively no skill is needed.
