A miniature solid brass cube threaded on a string, it can slide freely up and down the string. Yet whenever you command, it freezes on the string at any spot.
Another command and the cube continues to slide up an down again!
You can cause Cubio to stop and start as you wish revealing numbers, cards and so on or explain that you are using 'mind-power' to mentally cause it to freeze at will!
Hand Cubio out for examination and the spectators will find that it slides freely on the string and all their attempts to stop it will fail.
