Something different in close-up magic! Thread the red card with a hole in its centre onto a ribbon and allow a spectator to hold the ends of the ribbon with the card suspended in the centre. Cover it with your handkerchief.
You now show a yellow card also with a hole, which you put underneath the handkerchief. Have the spectator's say a few magic words and then remove the red card - it is now released from the ribbon and is immediately passed for examination.
But what about the yellow card? When the handkerchief is removed it is found hanging on the ribbon where the red card was originally!
Both cards and ribbon can now be examined without a clue to your mystery. The spectator never lets go of the ribbon at anytime. Easy to do!
